We need to create several gravel paths through the seven-acre pastures where the pigs live and roam. With these paths, the pigs will be able to access deep into the pasture and explore to either side as well as safely travel between their 5 different barns. It will also ensure Peter and I can gain access to all of the animals at all times — which is also of utmost importance. The wood chips help absorb some of the water and mud and make the mud walkable for the pigs. We also need to put in a large concrete pad for the pigs waters so they have access to clean water without making it into a big muddy mess.
